Mahahaul, Mexico

Here is a map of the trip I am planning. It starts in Cancun Mexico August 2010.

Arrive Friday spending Saturday in Cancun. Spend the day on the beach or in old Cancun. Maybe attend a bull fight or just shop.

Sunday morning packup and head to Mahahual where the pristine sands, culture and ocean view succumbs one in majesty. Sunday afternoon diving, Monday diving, beaching, site seeing, what ever pleases me. Monday is a day of diving at some of the most pristine sites you may ever see. I will be carrying my  underwater videography equipment. Can’t wait to see the video(s).

Tuesday morning, one more dive and checking out heading to Playa Del Carmen. Spending Tuesday through Thursday diving the cenotes and various sites off shore. One of the cenotes contains a thermocline and is a must experience cenote dive.

Friday leads me to Cozumel. Taking the ferry across the channel,  landing on the island of Cozumel one will find themselve at the entry of “Central Plaza” where shops and restaurants may be found. Heading North leads to places like Hard Rock Cafe, Froggy Bottom and more. Heading sound leads to shops and more restaurants. Arrangements will be made for pick up for two dives in the AM, two dives in the PM. Dinner at Palmeras OR one of my favorite restaurants Casa Mission, El Ultimo Paraiso then back to Playa Del Carmen for the evening.

Saturday is left for sight seeing and shopping in Playa Del Carmen. Playa Del Carmen is wonderful. A street running North/South which you walk for miles filled with shops and restaurants for all cultures. Get your duty free adult beverages and for those who were diving, a little off gassing before the flight home.

Sunday morning head to Cancun for the flight home.
