Subscription to post notification

New Subscription and notification system. For those who are familiar with the main divetalking web page, the old subscribe by email has disappeared and a new Subscribe field is presented. If you were previously subscribed to receive notifications, you need do nothing. Your previous subscription has been imported into the new system.

If you are new to Divetalking and with to subscribe to post notifications, simply type in your email address in the field and click on .

If you have not registered as a user of Divetalking.com, simply click on  found in IMPORTANT AREA.

You will be brought to the following screen:

Click on the Register link, the next screen you will be presented with is:

For Username, typing in a name you would like to use as your log in name/ID, fill in your E-mail address and click on Register.
You will be sent an email with your password. Using the Username and the password just sent, to you to the email address you supplied during registration you may now log into Divetalking, change your password, post comments/replies to post and more. One of the features is defining the type of notifications you would like to receive.

You will automatically be registered for notification and notifications will be sent to the email you used when registering.

NOTE: If the email address provided is not an address you are able to receive email from, you will not receive a password. If Divetalking receives bounced email from attempts to send updates, the account will be deleted.

One of the benefits of creating a user account on Divetalking when it comes to notification is you can customize the type and format of notifications you would like to receive.

To customize the notifications, expand your Profile tab and select Your Subscriptions

The next screen you will see allows you to select Categories you wish not to receive notifications on as well as the format of the notifications,

When and if you make your way back to the main divetalking website, which may be reached by clicking on the icon at the top of the screen, you will notice the SUBSCRIBE section allows you to manage your notification subscription by clicking on the profile link.
