JRRT’s Quarterly Highway Cleanup

Today, Saturday November 13, 2010 I joined up with the Jacksonville Reef Research Team at the entrance to Little Talbot State Park off Heckscher Dr. (Florida A1A), Jacksonville, Florida.  Think It Sink It Reef It, TISIRI was there to assist JRRT with the cleanup. This is the second consectutive year for the highway cleanup along a two mile stretch of Heckscher Dr., four miles total (North&South).

Phil Harvil (Team Leader – JRRT Public Relations Offier), Myself, Larry Davis, Michael Barnes, Phil and Rusty, Joe Kistel, Ed Kalakauskis

11 bags, 1 tire, large boards are what we collected this morning.

As always, we headed to the Sand Dollar for lunch. The Sand Dollar sits on the St. Johns River near the mouth of Mayport.
