It is around 10:30AM Saturday November 6, 2010. You are looking South West, across the St. Johns river at Jacksonville, Florida. It was a beautiful day.
Jacksonville Florida is not a big city. About three quarters of a million people call Jacksonville home these days. Jacksonville is also home to the Jackdsonville Jaguars, our Professional Footbal Team.
Jacksonville sits on the west bank of the St. Johns river, which is approximately 20 nautical miles from the jetties at Mayport, Florida where the Atlantic Ocean may be found.
The shot of a crab was taken with a new lens.
Some more shots facing south west towards jacksonville, Florida. This is a wide angle view. The building in the center was once known as Independent Life. Indenpendent Life went under after the hurricane that hit south Florida near Homestead many years ago and now bears the name Modis which is a consulting company.
