TISIRI artificial reef efforts

Just a quick update regarding TISIRI artificial reef efforts. 

TISIRI is knee deep in a tugboat reef project.  The tug is over 100 years and  as an artificial reef she could serve a 100 more. Currently the vessel resides partially submerged in a shallow area of river.  We are awaiting on a coast guard inspection and quotes from offshore towing providers.  Once the Coast Guard gives us an idea of what condition they would like to see her in we can begin with preparations.  

We still have the naming rights for this project available.  A significant project financial contributor can have the reef project named as they wish.  We will mount a large sign with the name on the vessel itself and call the new artificial reef this name. This contribution/s will help with the cost of vessel transportation and preparations.  Check the TISIRI webpage for more details. 

We are also working on a reef inventory project in which we dive and photograph/video various reef sites.  We will verify coordinates and create an online database of the sites.  Each site will have its own webpage on TISIRI.org and include a description as well as photos/video of the reef structure and marine life.  This will allow offshore angles, divers, and marine enthusiast a view of sites before they decide where they are going to visit.  Not only will this allow an updated look of a reef site and its inhabitants but it will also show sites that many may not be aware of.  This is sure to draw a lot of web traffic.

Each reef page will include an area for a sponsor link logo to the sponsors webpage.  We are looking for reef site page sponsors and transportation opportunities to offshore sites.  Please share with anybody you think may be willing to participate as a sponsor or provide offshore transportation.  Thanks
