Injury Update

From my post “Off to Film The Spike” you learned of the accident I was involved in while on the way out to Document Spikes progress after her placement a little over a year ago. I am writing to update anyone reading this, on my current condition. As of Tuesday August 24, 2010 I am still at home, taking pain meds as needed and sleeping often. I have very little appetite and I’m not sure why. My back is still very very sore and it is difficult for me to be on my feet more than 10 minutes without my legs getting wobbly, my body begins to shake and I become nauseous. This Thursday I have an appointment with an Orthopedic Surgeon. It was the soonest they could see me. I guess sooner if I was admitted, but I wasn’t admitted to the hospital. I am sure they will conduct the neccessary tests to determine the degree of damage and the corrective action(s). I am hoping no surgury will be required. Once I know more after Thursdays visit, I’ll post the results of that day right here at Divetalking. Thanks for stoppjng by and keeping up with my progress. The support I am receiving is greatly appreciated.
