Pizza Pizza

I know this isn’t diving related, so I’ll make it diving related.

After a good day of diving, wink (that’s the diving part I added), I decided to try Dominos Pizza. Seeing their commercials on their new and improved pizza and all. NOT! First bite and I thought, “New?, Improved?” I noticed right away too much parmesan cheese. I also noted too much salt.

I thought back to when I use to order Dominos and wondered what it was I liked about their sauce. Pepper! The sauce was missing that distinct flavor of pepper. One of the distinguishing characterists Dominos Pizza use to have when compared to other establishments such as Pizza Hut, Papa Johns, Little Ceasars and others.

Each pizza supplier has their own good pizza. For example, I like the Pan Pizza from Pizza Hut. It’s the Olive Oil that makes that pizza and the crust is wonderful. Papa Johns makes good pizza, period. Dominos I am not so sure about. I’ll have to try other combinations to see if maybe it is the pepperoni and mushroom pizza and the pepperoni that are not tasty.

My best for delivery is Papa Johns. For sit in, Pizza Hut.

    One one ‘za’ was Mushroom and Pepperoni, on the second ‘za’ was pepperoni with extra cheese and sauce, from Dominos. I’ll pay attention for the sugar on the Papajohns on the next order. I alway get thin and pepperoni+.

    What toppings did you get on the ´za? I don´t think the Dominos we have in Madrid, Spain has undergone a new marketing strategy like in the States but I´ve heard much disappointment regarding there “new and improve” recipe.

    Papa Johns? Sorry, I have to respectfully disagree with you on that one. I tried a slive of this pizza once when I was on holiday in the states and I thought it was overly sweet, way too much sugar.
