This Thursday evening 4\/8\/2010 and every Tuesday and Thursday night, I will be conducting a DM Course for DMCs in hopes to meet our goal, turn in paperwork to PADI by October this year. As suggested by one of the DMCs, the topics for Thursday night are:\u00a0\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff6600\">The physiology of the body as related to pressure\/nitro absorption\/ &amp; off gassing!\u00a0 An alternative to that might be a review of equations that solve common dive situations. PPO Volume SAC to specific depth<\/span>. Not a bad suggestion. I&#8217;ll update this post after the 4\/8\/2010\u00a0Thursday night session.<\/p>\n<p>Last nights session went well. We worked through physics discussing various laws and the specifics about those laws. Before we began the night, we reviewed our current standing in the course and identified what is still outstanding.<br \/>\nMost have exams to take but all have a lot of water skills to perform. I leave it up to the team to decide when as long as we&#8217;re all together. Should we find this to be a hinderance, we&#8217;ll look at options at that time. I would strongly encourage the DMCs to attend as many classes as possible, to gain experience as well as to use as time to polish their techniques BEFORE they request an evaluation. This way if the performance is not executed up to the required score they can reflect back at the amount of time and effort spend studying, practicing the art.
