Welcome to The W<\/strong>orld O<\/strong>f W<\/strong>onder Tour. This WOW Tour is for divers wishing to experience diving in the Philippines.<\/p>\n

This WOW tour introduces you to some of the best the Philippines has to offer. There are many places in the Philippines to visit that are exceptional and we have chosen some of the best, easily accessible\u00a0 for a two week tour.<\/p>\n

Hello, my name is Larry Davis. I travel the world shooting underwater film and stills. I create documentaries. I have been very fortunate to have the opportunity to travel the planet. With over 35 years of travel under my belt there is one thing I’ve come to realize, no matter where you go on this planet, there is always something beautiful to find, wonderful people to meet, good food to eat and sites to see. I love exploring, meeting and making friends yet most of all I love Diving, Filming, and Photography.<\/p>\n

During my travels I have met many wonderful people in so many beautiful places. Of all the places visited, the Philippines have become one of my favorite to revisit, especially for its diversity for diving. Your diving experiences during this tour will lead you to the large Pelagic to macro species and all size species in between. The tour doesn’t just lead you to the water. There are land based opportunities for you to enjoy as as part of your package, all of which are totally optional to attend. I encourage you to take these side trips. The experiences and memories will live for a life time.<\/p>\n

You are cordially invited to go on an adventure with me. You just need to show up and enjoy the adventures. I personally experienced everything that is offered in this trip. I did all the logistics so you may relax and experience the joys and \u00a0wonders the Philippines have to offer. If this is your first trip, you will have a good start in learning some of the best the Philippines has to offer. If this is a repeat trip, you may experience sights you’ve never experienced before. \nMoalboal, pronounced mo-ahl-bo-ah<\/span>l you spend five nights, up to four and a half days diving, with an opportunity to visit Kawasan Falls
\nAs a group, we will make the request to visit the small island of Pescador just a couple of miles due west of Moalboal. A small plateau that surrounds the island before it drops vertically into the abyss. The wall is literally teeming with life; frogfish, stonefish, barracuda and turtles are common, but the real draw is the sardine run and a chance of a thresher.<\/p>\n

As part of your package, I have arrange an afternoon trip to the turquoise waters Of Kawasan Falls. I recommended this experience. You will head out after lunch and start the experiencing with Canyoneering. You begin upriver from Kawasan falls and work your way down the river until you reach Kawasan Fallas. Click here to watch a video of what I am trying to describe<\/a>. Kawasan Falls, <\/strong>just 45 minutes from Moalboal. Kawasan Falls is a three-layered waterfall system located at Barangay Matutinao.\u00a0The first set of falls has a height of over 131 feet<\/b>, while the second set has a wider area with a height of 66 feet<\/b>. There is a small third falls a few kilometers away from the second one but is rarely frequented by tourists<\/span>. The water is fresh and crystal clear. The magical landscape of Kawasan Falls is very cool and refreshing, an ideal paradise to anyone who loves and wants to get intimate with nature. Enjoy the cold swim in the fresh, crystal clear spring water of Kawasan Falls. Kawasan falls is part of your WOW tour package and I encourage you to go, relax and enjoy its beauty.<\/p>\n

When our time in MOALBOAL has come to an end, we turn our compass south towards:<\/p>\n

DAUIN<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The island of Negros is the second largest in the Visayas, after Panay. Negros, split into Occidental and Oriental, is mountainous and volcanic origin, very fertile and also famous as \u201csugar island\u201d, because more than half of the agricultural land is used for sugar cane plantations.<\/p>\n

Beside the wild nature on Negros and a \u201ccaramel\u201d brown beach in Dauin, every diver has the chance for a varied dive holiday. Dauin offers next to a multifaceted house reef, impressive corals of Apo Island as well as world class muck diving. Each diver has the chance to find a personal favorite dive spot.<\/p>\n

When the Spanish explorers landed in Negros Oriental in 1565, they found natives who called the place \u201cBuglas\u201d, named after a kind of tall grass resembling the present-day sugar cane plant. Buglas grass was then abundantly growing in the island. The Spaniards encountered many black people with black kinky hair among the inhabitants, they called the island Negros. At that time, there were two types of forest dwellers, the black natives called Ata or Agta (Negrito) and the Proto-Malay also known as Bukidnon with dark brown skin.<\/p>\n

Negros Oriental occupies the south-eastern half of the island of Negros, with Negros Occidental comprising the western half. It has a total land area of 5,402.30 km\u00b2. A chain of rugged mountains separates Negros Oriental from Negros Occidental. Unlike its sister province, which belongs to the Western Visayas region, Negros Oriental belongs to the Central Visayas region. Negros Oriental faces Cebu to the east across the Ta\u00f1on Strait and Siquijor to the south-east. The Sulu Sea borders it to the south.<\/p>\n

The province\u2019s topography is characterized by low, grooved mountain ranges which mostly lie close to the shoreline. At the southern end of the province is the Cuernos de Negros (Horns of Negros) strato volcano which rises to a height of 1864 meters. At the northern end of the province is Mount Canlaon, the highest peak in the island with a height of 2465 meters and an active volcano. There are a few plateaus in the interior to the west of the province.\"\"<\/p>\n

While on Dauin we\u2019ll make a day trip to APO ISLAND\u00a0<\/strong>one of the top diving and snorkeling destinations in the Philippines. This world- famous island located a few kilometers off the southern tip of Negros Oriental, never fails to amaze divers with its rich community-protected marine life.\u00a0Apo Island is located 30 kilometers south of Dumaguete City and\u00a0is known for its spectacular scuba diving sites found all over the island. It is one of the best sites for scuba diving<\/a>. Here are the famous diving sites in Apo Island.<\/p>\n
