The Cave at Blue Grotto

For many years, Blue Grotto, located in Williston Florida was known for the large and spacious cavern. Through the years, Open Water divers, cavern, cave and students made their way to train, explore and work on their skills.

Hidden in the back of the property was a a secure pathway leading down to an area closed to all divers. A Cave.

When Blue Grotto was sold and transferred to new ownership in 2013, they had other plans for Blue Grotto. To make it a place that was family and diver friendlier. Adding living quarters, improving the grounds by rebuilding and add new canopies as well as a brand new, state of the art dive deck, [singlepic id=994 w= h= float=right] acting as a staging area to setup and store equipment before and after enter the cavern. They also made one other decision, to open up the Cave. Clearing debree, exploring, mapping and laying new gold line, The Cave at Blue Grotto is now open and offers a new system that has not been seen for dozens of years.

If you are an Intro to cave or higher level of certification and would like to explore this newly open Cave System, visit Blue Grotto and be one of the first and the few that will see this newly open system. Visit their website to learn more about The Cave.
